I personally, would spend more time trying to prevent this species from becoming endangered. It seems to be overlooked because its not yet "endangered" but why should it have to be, for us to try and keep this majestic species from dying off. I would focus more on keeping them out of captivity and also trying to track their migratory patterns so we could learn more about the population and how to go about conserving them. I also feel that they would be less likely to travel into our fishing grounds if we were less likely to travel into their breeding grounds/feeding grounds. If we set up a sort of boundary to keep the whales and humans seperate it seems that we would be less harmful to them as a whole. I also feel that keeping them out of the "entertainment spotlight" would help shine a light on the fact that they are on the verge to becoming a very rare species, which is unfortunate due to how interesting and new to people they really are.
